$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install mauve 

mauve is installed in your system.

Make ensure the mauve package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mauve *

You will get with mauve package name, version, architecture and description in a table

mauve package basic information:
